I am the loved one in your life that cries for you in your pain, and hears and feels your frustration.
I am the loved one in your life that is there for you when you need to be heard and need that real love and understanding when you are trying to sort things out.
I am the loved one that begged you to seek help because you mean so very much.
I am the loved one that fears for your life and is fighting the addiction issues with you, always fearing that the next time you use could be the last time I see you.
I am the loved one who is thankful you are here today to share and create new memories.
I am your loved one ....
I loved Vincent Law who was the love of my life. I now walk this journey alone. He never believed that the drug could win and death would happen to him using "just a bit" one more time.
I do not use drugs, but walked the walk with him, so I truly don't understand what triggers one to use, but I do believe YOU need to make it for I know your loved ones never want to be me Living through this pain of loss and lonliness.
I sincerely hope that your effort in seeking and working the programs make the choice never to be like our Vince.
